Hello all,
I'm new to this forum and just now getting into long range shooting. I bought a 22-250 to hunt coyote with back in Jan. My question is this... How far out are you guys reaching with this caliber? And is this caliber ever used in matches? I have the luxury of having a 1000yd range within a 10 minute drive from where I live. So the next gun will probably be a 308. I don't have a range membership yet so I have'nt gotten to shoot past 100yds. I'm trying to save some face before I go out on the range. Any info would be great. Thanks

Legba, 22-250 would be a good caliber for hunting. I do not know of anyone that compete with that caliber.

As for having the luxury of shooting on a 1000 yard range, that is a good deal. Not many people are able to do that.
