I picked up a REM 700 SA at a good price and I am thinking about having another rifle built. I am thinking 243. Any comments or loads for this caliber? 8)

Good caliber Pete. The 115 DTAC and some H4350 will give you good results.

Rob, I am planning on buying brass, bullets and dies. I already use H4350 (I bought a pound today) in my 260. What load do you recommend? 8)

My load is:
42.5grns H4350
Winchester brass
115 DTAC MOLY or BN but if you use naked then drop the powder charge down a few grains for safety.
Fed 210M or 210 primers

It works great in my 7.5 twist Schneider barrel and gives me about 2985fps. No screaming but will do the job.

That is a good starting point. Thanks.

Ok, I have brass, bullets and some dies for the 243. I also got a call from GA George and my rifle should be ready soon. Should start loading now.

UPDATE

Rifle came in.
