Bell&Carlson stock

Postby snipersustainment on Wed Aug 27, 2008 5:58 pm

This week I got my new stock from Bell & Carlson for a REM700 SA 308 rifle that I have. The stock is the tactical model.

The stock comes with a recoil pad, 3 sling swivel studs, a bedding block and also the recoil lug area is already open up for an oversize recoil lug.

UPDATE

After putting in a little elbow grease I was able to drop in my barreled action into the stock. The stock is inletted for a Varmiter or medium Tactical barrel. The barrel I have is a Heavy tactical. Because of that I had to open up the barrel channel. I also had to do some work to the bottom of the stock for the bottom metal. Once all that was done I was able to bolt in the barreled action.
